PLACE OF PROMISE (2013-2017)

On 2 750 000 square meters in Germanys exhibition halls the newest products are presented, the most efficient services are praised and the best know-how is exploited. Trade shows mirror the global, capitalistic society, which is focussed on growth, performance and consumption. For each group of interest there is a different trade show: Arms, sex, pets, IT, livestock, industry, carpets, leisure, tourism, beauty and so forth.

The place of perfect marketing is dominated by standardised scenery, live-shows, men in suits, and tough fight for customers. In Germany, each year these performance shows provide sales up to 23.000.000.000 Euros. With a total of about 10 million visitors per year and more then 170 nationwide trade shows, Germany is considered as the most important trade show location worldwide.
